For sixteen years, Rodica Driha quietly worked as a cleaner in apartment buildings in Beiuș, Romania. She never expected that one day she would depend on the kindness of others simply to receive the care she needs to survive.
Today, at 65 years old, Rodica is a widow living with severe complications caused by diabetes. She has lost a toe to gangrene, suffered a hip fracture that healed incorrectly, and has multiple blocked arteries. She uses a wheelchair and is no longer able to prepare meals, clean her room, or care for her wounds without daily assistance.
Despite these challenges, Rodica has not lost hope. With proper medical care, rehabilitation, and ongoing support, she can continue living in safety and dignity. We are asking for your help to make that possible.
